Teams in need of volunteers:
Membership Team
Responsible for maintaining the current roster of BSO General Members, internal contact information, encouraging new memberships, track student registrations.
Communications/Publicity Team
Responsible for external publicity and contact information such as submitting newsletters, social media updates, emails, and/or text messages of promotions, Spirit Nights, and band-related events.
Fundraising Team
Coordinate and communicate fundraising events and efforts approved by the Executive Board and the General Members to include Tag Day, Spirit Nights, Spirit Wear, sponsorships, etc.
Hospitality Team
Coordinate any band-related activity such as 8th Grade Night, All-County/State auditions, desserts/refreshments for banquets, concerts, picnics, parades, cards/flowers for bereavement.
Transportation Team
Coordinate logistics for transportation (not to include school buses, which are arranged for by the Band Director) to include moving band equipment, chaperones, and reservations (as necessary) for all band-related events.
Pit Crew
Coordinate and execute the loading and unloading of instruments and equipment at all competitions and football games.
Uniform Team
Responsible for evaluating band uniform conditions, coordinate fittings, prepare and distribute competition and concert uniforms, and arrange for dry-cleaning as needed.
